2022 at Boulder Veterinary Hospital

To Our Valued Clients and Friends of Boulder Veterinary Hospital,

From all of us at Boulder Veterinary Hospital, thank you for your ongoing trust in providing veterinary care for your beloved non-human family members. Having our own pets, we understand that finding the “right fit” for veterinary care can be overwhelming. Many of us chose the veterinary field as our vocation for that very reason.  And that’s why we promise to continue to dedicate our professional lives to providing care to your pets as if they were our own.

With 2022 already well under way, change and new challenges remain central themes in all of our lives. If you have been to Boulder Veterinary Hospital in the last few months, you may have noticed some new faces around the clinic. Rest assured that our wonderful doctors: Dr. Amanda Burdette, Dr. Melissa Jordan, and Dr. Jeanne Klafin will continue to provide their top-notch quality care, as they have done so relentlessly through the pandemic and beyond.

The hospital is excited to welcome veterinarians Dr. Cassie Vespa and Dr. Alex Fuchs to the team! Cassie graduated from University of Illinois in 2021 and is excited to start her career with us in Boulder. She is equally interested in dogs, cats, and exotic animals. She even was the manager of the Wildlife Clinic at Illinois! Alex graduated from the University of Illinois in 2015 and spent several years practicing as a general practitioner and as an emergency veterinarian. We are happy to announce that he is the new medical director here at Boulder Veterinary Hospital!

We also welcome Adrienne Wuellner as the new Practice Manager.  She has been an integral part of the team at Boulder Vet as a technician for 3 years.  You’ll likely recognize her moving around the hospital greeting patients and offering help in an occasional down moment.

While we are determined to leave the practices in place which have served Boulder Veterinary Hospital quite well in the past, we are also working diligently to incorporate new improvements into the practice. As the field of veterinary medicine progresses, we as individuals and as a clinic must also evolve. New changes may come in the form of new equipment, training for our doctors and staff, new treatments and procedures, and renovations around the hospital. All of this is in line with our mission to provide the best veterinary care within our power.

Again, we want to thank our loyal clients for continuing to trust us with their pets and showing patience and understanding during the pandemic. It is truly our honor! We plan to be here for you and your cherished pets for years to come.

Sincerely,

The Team at Boulder Veterinary Hospital
