She began her career as a zookeeper but moved over to veterinary practice management in late 2021. Her favorite part of working at Boulder Vet is getting to see the kittens and puppies that visit! Delaney loves that veterinary medicine is always teaching them something new. Outside of work, Delaney spends their time hiking, camping, rollerblading, and doing art such as embroidery, crochet, and painting. They have several pets: a black kitty named Mavis, a leopard gecko named Lydia, a crested gecko named Pugsley, and hermit crabs named Peach, Pear, and Peapod.

Brandon,
Veterinary Assistant
Brandon grew up in Circleville, OH but has lived many places, including Columbus, OH, Washington DC, and New York City. He moved to Colorado for his husband’s job and for all the outdoor activities Colorado has to offer; a few favorites include skiing, rock climbing, and hiking.
Before starting school to become a veterinary technician, Brandon was a hairstylist for 20 years. He’s currently finishing up his first year of technician school.
Brandon loves veterinary medicine because he gets to help pets be their healthiest selves. He loves the fast-paced environment and learning in the various fields of medicine. His favorite part would have to be radiology and cytology, because you can learn a lot from these two areas. Weather looking at X-rays to see internally or looking at various cells and blood under the microscope, you can determine the best course of action from your findings.
Outside of work Brandon likes to read, play video games, cook, and enjoy the great outdoors of Colorado. His current pets are a Bernedoodle called Tycho and a Gooty Sapphire (Poecilotheria metallica) Tarantula called Lazuli.

Carrera plays ultimate frisbee with two Boulder club teams. They ski, hike, climb, camp, and paddle board with their dogs whenever they have time. Carrera also loves to bake and especially enjoys making croissants. Carrera has two dogs, Pumpkin (a chihuahua mix) and Patches (a heeler mix), and a turtle named Squirt.

Ash was born and raised in Boulder, Colorado. They attended Lawrence University in Appleton, WI from 2019 to 2023, graduating with a bachelor’s in English. They are new to the veterinary field but are an EPA-certified refrigerant technician from their past career experience!
Ash loves animals of all kinds; providing them with care so that they and their owners can have as much time and joy together as possible is why Ash has chosen the veterinary field. They love encountering all kinds of new personalities – the pets and the people.
Outside of work, Ash enjoys creative writing, reading, hiking, textile art (including tapestry-weaving!), and birdwatching. They have a brown tabby cat named Sasha. She’s shy, but with a lot of personality!
